At the end of 2020, Warwick Employment Group (WEG) hosted its first virtual Christmas conference and awards ceremony to reflect on a truly extraordinary year and recognise the achievements of high-performing employees.
Managers took the opportunity to thank their teams for adapting seamlessly to changes in working arrangements and for making an extra effort to support WEG’s businesses throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the challenges during the last year, more than 60,000 vacancies were advertised on our job boards and over 22,000 students found paid work through Unitemps. In addition, the University of Edinburgh successfully launched their very own Unitemps branch, which is the first one to open in Scotland.
Without our dedicated workforce, it simply wouldn’t have been possible to achieve these results at such a difficult time. To celebrate the standout contributions made by our team members, we have produced a presentation video to showcase this year’s internal award winners.
Paul Brewster, Director of Warwick Employment Group, commented:
‘On behalf of WEG I would like to congratulate all of our award winners on their achievements. 2020 has been a year like no other, and I would like to extend our thanks to team members and clients for their flexibility and continued support throughout the pandemic.
A special mention must also be given to those who undertook vital roles through our employment network this year. From the technicians who joined PHE’s laboratories, through to the administrators supporting NHS testing efforts and the delivery drivers that continue to provide access to essential goods. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your work, and wish our community the very best for the festive season.’
