This year, our annual Christmas Conference took place on campus at Scarman Meeting and Conference Centre. We were delighted to bring the team together to celebrate the achievements of our brands over the past year and discuss our strategy moving forwards.
In 2018, we witnessed Unitemps go from strength to strength, from the efforts of the Franchise team working with UCL to open their new Unitemps branch, through to the Recruitment team achieving a 20% increase in the number of assignments filled year-on-year.
We also hosted our dedicated higher education conference, HE Recruitment, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of jobs.ac.uk. To top this off, jobs.ac.uk also published 78,872 adverts and welcomed 430 new customers in 2018.
After only their second year of trading, college.jobs.ac.uk has worked with more than 50% of UK based colleges, while SearchHigher has welcomed new team members and grown their client base by over 60%.
The Conference also provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the contributions made by individuals within Warwick Employment Group – our annual award winners were:
Newcomer of the Year: Martin Ng
Business Initiative of the Year: George Marshall for the Cross Payroll Project
First Class Service Award: Christopher Boote
Employee of the Year: Christopher Haines
Team of the Year: Unitemps Recruitment
Sales Person of the Year: Emily Lea
Support Person of the Year: Manda Andrews
Special Recognition Award: Andrea Skelly for the ISS Contract
Paul Brewster, Director of Warwick Employment Group, commented:
“We provide a worldwide service to our clients, consistently making an impact on many lives through our work in the higher education sector. We are recognised as industry leaders in the work that we do as we seek innovative ways to meet the expectations of our candidates and clients. We should all feel a great sense of pride in the work we do supporting the higher education sector. Universities are continually impacting the world with the research they publish and it is a real privilege to know that we help and support them. I am very optimistic for the future and look forward to the results we can achieve this time next year!”
